Meet Sarah

Kozlowski Co. was founded in 2023 by me, Sarah Kozlowski.

Honored to meet you! I’m an outdoor photographer, content creator, and social media strategist with a passion for wild places and authentic connections. Growing up surrounded by nature and adventure, I turned my love for storytelling into a business built on authentic experiences in wild places.

I’m a Hayward, Wisconsin native raised on Northwoods backroads, long seasons, and the kind of small-town roots that never really leave you.

I did leave once, for college at St. Cloud State University, where I majored in criminal justice and minored in psychology. After graduating in 2014, I found my way back home, and it didn’t take long to realize that path wasn’t quite my fit. Still, the curiosity about people, behavior, and storytelling stayed with me.

In 2015, I met my husband, Jay on a blind date. Turns out, we were two peas in a pod. We share a deep love for the outdoors, adventure, and a lifestyle rooted in getting outside whenever we can. Those shared passions have shaped not only our life together, but the way I see the world and tell stories through my work.

Before starting Kozlowski Co., I worked in just about every setting you can imagine, from hospitality and service to banking, automotive, and healthcare. Each role taught me something valuable, but none of them ever felt like home. I’ve always had a constantly running mind and a creative itch that didn’t fit neatly into a traditional mold. I’m someone who notices the small details, thrives on storytelling, and feels most grounded outside.

In 2024, I finally decided to stop forcing myself into spaces where I didn’t belong and bet on myself instead. Going full-time with Kozlowski Co. allowed me to build something rooted in real experiences, honest work, and meaningful relationships. I believe the best content comes from genuine moments, not manufactured ones, and the strongest partnerships are built on trust, collaboration, and showing up as yourself.
